Potato Casserole with Santo Amaro Tuna

Cooking time: 30 minutes

For 4 servings:

  • 2 cans of Santo Amaro Tuna in Olive Oil
  • 5 large potatoes cut into slices
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 200 grams of aged cheese
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • Ground nutmeg to taste
  • Salt and pepper

In a medium saucepan boil water, add salt and cook the potatoes for 5 minutes, drain and put to the side.

In a medium heat resistant dish, spread the surface with the garlic clove. Add a quarter cup of cream, a little oregano, nutmeg, salt and pepper.

Make a first layer with the potatoes and onions.

Add cheese and repeat with the cream.

The last layer should have cheese and cream.

Bake for 15 minutes at 360 degrees F or until golden brown, remove from the oven and place the tuna fillets on the potato cake.
